Taren Greenidge earned her B.A. in Economics and Political Science, cum laude, in 2007 from Spelman College and her J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 2010. She is currently an Associate at Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete LLP, a national law firm devoted representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law. Taren is a member of the Urban League of Rochester’s Board of Directors and is also an active member of the Greater Rochester Association of Women Attorneys, the Rochester Black Bar Association and the Monroe County Bar Association.
Jamal Redding has been a member of BYP since its inception. He is a New York State Certified Public Accountant, and works as a Professional Business Management Consultant at JC Jones & Associates. Jamal has earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Kent State University.
Justin Moffat graduated in 2006 from Wilberforce University with a degree in Business Management. From 2006 to 2013 he was a Retail Operations Manager for Tops Markets. He is currently a full time student at the University of Rochester obtaining his MBA (Marketing). He is the formal connection between you and the board.
Vice President of Programming
Korby Wesley is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. He received his B.A. in English from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia in 2012. He currently teaches 2nd Grade at Rochester Prep Elementary School, where he has been employed for two years. Korby has been a member of the BYP for a year, and now serves as the Fundraising Chair.
Diedra Livingston graduated from SUNY Brockport with a Bachelors in Communications and completed her Masters in Human Resource Development from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She has been employed by RIT since 2008. She currently works as a Career Services Coordinator, in the office of Career Services and Cooperative education. She is very excited about joining the board and working with other like-minded individuals.
Tanesha Gano attended Monroe Community College and graduated with an Associate in Liberal Arts and Science. She is the Internal Compliance Monitor at Highland Hospital. Event planning and meeting new people are her passion. She is part of the Media and Ushering departments at her church, Glory House International.

Jermayne Myers joined BYP in 2012 to share his passion for this amazing city and to make connections with other young professionals, who share that passion for community service and philanthropy. As Community Service Chair, he looks forward to working with our members and friends of BYP to partner with local organizations, and provide unique opportunities for young professionals to engage in philanthropy, community and volunteer activities.
Professional Development Chair
Roy Richards graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2007 with a degree in African American Studies and a Marketing minor. He later went on to work in the Orlando, FL and Lockport, NY school districts. In 2009, Roy gravitated towards a career in business. He worked as an Account Manager and District Manager for PepsiCo from 2009 to 2014. In 2015, Roy obtained his Master in Business administration from Medaille College. Currently, he is a Commercial Lines Account Executive with First Niagara Risk Management and a Real Estate Sales Associate with Keller Williams Realty.
Tonya Dickerson is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with a Bachelors in Sociology, and Medaille College with a Masters in Organizational Leadership. She is employed at the Department of Labor providing career development tools to job seekers and has over seven years of experience in workforce development. Tonya volunteers with various community organizations, serving on committees and boards such as the Black Scholars Planning Committee. She is excited to be part of BYP organization; promoting the groups events and keeping you informed.
Jonelle Redhead, a Rochester native and past Urban League Scholar, completed her B.A. in Health and Society at the University of Rochester in 2009 and earned her M.S. in Mental Health Counseling in 2014 from the Warner School of Education. She is the Vice President of her family owned business, The Wig Gallery, and Store Sales Manager of Vanity. She spends her free time as a per diem Behavioral Assistant at Stepping Stones and Commerical Model with AMS Model and Talent Agency.
Community Service Chair
Born in Lower Manhattan, but raised in Harlem, Yasmin J. Mattox is an interdisciplinary social science researcher. Mattox holds a B.A. in Political Science from Alfred University and an M.S. in International Studies from St. John Fisher College. She is the Founder and Principal Researcher of Y Mattox Research & Consulting, a social science research and consulting firm. Mattox has also recently begun the position of Program Assistant at Rochester Institute of Technology’s Center for Urban Entrepreneurship (CUE). Yasmin employs her knowledge of interdisciplinary social science issues, locally and abroad, to help plan impactful, engaging, and fun BYP community service ideas and initiatives.
